NFL Betting Tips: Bengals eye commanding win; time for Travis Kelce to turn up

Sports News Blitz is back again this week, excited for another weekend of NFL action.

The Kansas City Chiefs are still undefeated, after a last-minute win over the Cincinnati Bengals, and are looking like Super Bowl favourites once again.

After a hit-or-miss game-week two, Sports News Blitz returns with a slightly bruised ego - perhaps a tad over-confident after a fantastic start with my picks in the opening game-week!

Once again, NFL tipster Sam Condy has scoured the SkyBet markets and has put together a selection of our top picks ahead of the three SkySports NFL games this weekend.

New England Patriots at New York Jets

The New England Patriots will be hoping to move back to winning ways this weekend as they take on divisional rivals, the New York Jets.

Both teams are currently sitting on an even record, winning and losing one apiece through the opening two game-weeks. The stage is set for a tense match-up between the pair.

The Jets offence looked markedly better from their game-week one outing, with Aaron Rodgers opting to pick out Breece Hall and Garret Wilson as his top targets.

What could prove tricky for Rodgers’ offence is the Patriots’ defence, who have an air-tight reputation, letting just 16.5 points past them per game on average.

Therefore, unless the Jets come storming out the gate, the New England side should have just enough in the locker to secure a victory.

Suggested Bet: New England Patriots (+3.5) @ 5/4

Kansas City Chiefs at Atlanta Falcons

The Kansas City Chiefs have proved they are still a winning side, with eyes on another Super Bowl appearance this February.

Despite being behind through the third quarter, the Chiefs moved up a gear to walk away with a razor-thin win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Travis Kelce is yet to take off from the starting block, catching for only 39 yards through the opening two games. With Kansas City already 2-0, just how dominant will they be when Kelce gets going?

The Atlanta Falcons are in for a tough game this weekend.

While they walked away with a fantastic win over the Philadelphia Eagles, they have looked shaky, and have struggled to put together an effective offensive performance.

Suggested Bet: Winning Margin - 1-6 Kansas City Chiefs @ 7/2

Washington Commanders at Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals were unlucky at the weekend, narrowly missing out on a win to the Kansas City Chiefs. After a near picture-perfect defensive performance, they were unable to hold on through the final quarter and were eventually defeated to a score reading 26-25.

The Bengals will be determined to get back onto a winning note, still without a victory this season, though after a dazzling performance against the Chiefs, they are starting to look like real contenders.

The Washington Commanders are fresh off their first win of the season, with a hard-fought victory over the New York Giants in game-week two. Placekicker Austin Siebert set a new franchise record, with seven field goals to cement their opening win.

However, repeating this feat is highly unlikely, and the Commanders had to rely on standout individual performances rather than a disciplined team showing.

This will prove futile when they come up against a side looking to place themselves beside the top dogs in the AFC, the Bengals look to be that team.

Suggested Bet: Winning Margin - 7-12 Cincinnati Bengals @ 4/1
