NFL betting tips: Kansas City Chiefs to bounce back, Philadelphia Eagles to continue winning

The mighty Kansas City Chiefs are no longer unbeaten having faced their first loss of the season to an exceptional Buffalo Bills side last time out - is there a new King of the NFL as the play-offs approach?

Here at Sports News Blitz, we predicted it perfectly. The Chiefs were bound to lose at some point after so many close games and may not be as unbeatable as was thought.

Elsewhere, the Philadelphia Eagles continued their unbeaten run, making it six wins in a row with victory over the Washington Commanders.

Once again, NFL tipster Sam Condy has delved deep into the Sky Bet markets to pick out the top bets ahead of gameweek 12.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns look like a team on the decline. It was widely regarded that the outfit had a fantastic defence through the opening few weeks, but things seem to be worsening for the Cleveland side.

Their new-found shaky defence was particularly evident last week, with Taysom Hill running riot for the New Orleans Saints in scoring three touchdowns and leading his team to a crushing victory over the Browns.

Things could get even worse for the struggling side this week. The Pittsburgh Steelers look to be the best-coached side in the league, disciplined on both the front and back foot, and it would take a near-perfect performance on Friday to get the better of them.

Suggested bet: Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5) @ ⅚

Carolina Panthers at Kansas City Chiefs

The unbeaten run has finally come to an end. The Kansas City Chiefs tasted defeat to a much better Buffalo Bills side last weekend, raising questions as to just how dangerous the Chiefs really are.

It goes without saying that the Chiefs are one of the top sides in the league, but with many of their wins being razor close – arguably lucky – they may not be the dominant force they once were.

However, the downfall of the Chiefs will not take place this week

The Panthers have been woeful this season and, without being flashy, the Chiefs thrive on third downs. Their constant pressure should set them up to walk over the Panthers on Sunday.

Suggested bet: Winning margin 7-12 Kansas City Chiefs @ 4/1

Philadelphia Eagles at Los Angeles Rams

As long as Saqoun Barkley gets rolling on Monday, the Los Angeles Rams will have a tough time containing a dangerous Eagles offence.

Barkley has been on fire this season, averaging 5.8 yards per carry and 113.7 yards per game.

The Rams have also looked phenomenal on offence this season. Kyren Williams has scored ten touchdowns and, despite some lacklustre rushing stats, has proven crucial to the Rams' success this season.

At first glance it may look like we are in for a high-scoring firefight, but both sides have arguably looked even more impressive defensively.

They rank first and third in opponent Expected Points Allowed (EPA) per play, leading me to believe that we will be in for a surprisingly low-scoring game between the two.

Suggested bet: Under points (48.5) @ ⅘

Baltimore Ravens at Los Angeles Chargers

The Baltimore Ravens are a side of two stories this season. They possess, undoubtedly, the best offence in the league. It is, however, coupled with an abysmal defence.

The Los Angeles Chargers, on the other hand, have been extremely disciplined this season, putting on solid defensive showings.

I think the Ravens' offence will meet its match against the Chargers while Los Angeles’ quarterback Justin Herbert has an opportunity to run riot on Tuesday.

Suggested bet: Los Angeles Chargers (+2.5) @ 1/1

The Chiefs' pick is quite specific this week, although with their handicap so high (10.5) the risk/reward is far more enticing.

If the pick does come off, the rest of this week's bets are pretty straightforward so could lead to a profitable accumulator.

Accumulator odds: 32/1
