NFL betting tips: Tampa Bay Buccaneers to trample Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers to condemn New Orleans Saints

There are only a few weeks left of the regular season and NFL action is starting to heat up with seven play-off berths still up for grabs.

The Kansas City Chiefs continued their one-loss march to the post-season with a blowout win over a lacklustre Cleveland Browns outfit last week.

In Minneapolis, the Minnesota Vikings cruised to an impressive win over the Chicago Bears and will prove a tricky draw later in the competition.

Ahead of gameweek 16, Sports News Blitz NFL guru Sam Condy has scoured the Sky Bet markets to bring you the best betting picks.

Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have been given a huge spread to cover this week at home to the Browns.

To be honest, it does not make much sense considering the hit-or-miss form of the Bengals this season.

With a defence to be laughed at, they have failed dismally to string together a reasonable run of form thus far and are scaring nobody.

Admittedly, the Browns have been even worse. However, when given the opportunity of a free touchdown, it would be silly not to bet on the Cleveland side to keep it close.

Suggested bet: Cleveland Browns (+7.5) @ 5/6

Kansas City Chiefs at Houston Texans

The Chiefs could very well be without Patrick Mahomes this week after the star quarterback injured his ankle against the Browns last week.

While it was reported that he was back in training on Tuesday, there has been no further update since, throwing his participation against the Texans into doubt.

Chiefs games have been low-scoring affairs of late, so the probable absence of Mahomes makes betting on the under that much more enticing.

Even if Mahomes does make it onto the field, I cannot see the Texans scoring high against the phenomenal Chiefs defence.

Suggested bet: Under points (41.5) @ 5/6

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Dallas Cowboys

This season, the Buccaneers have cemented themselves as a side to dread playing against.

With running back Bucky Irving averaging an incredible 5.6 yards per carry this season, they have a top-five offence.

And while it looked like their defence would be their downfall at the start of the season, things have really started to click into place in that department lately.

On the other hand, the Cowboys have been nothing short of hopeless defensively this term.

As a result, Irving should have a field day in Texas on Monday.

Suggested bet: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3.5) @ 4/5

New Orleans Saints at Green Bay Packers

The Packers are starting to look like a side that could cause a couple of upsets in the play-offs come the end of the season.

Having won three of their last four, all by big margins, and with quarterback Jordan Love on a hot streak, the Wisconsin franchise’s prospects appear good.

For the struggling Saints, though, things have gone from bad to worse as quarterback Derek Carr is set to miss out.

After losing every game that Carr has not started this season, it is therefore not looking promising against an on-form Packers side.

Suggested bet: Green Bay Packers (-5.5) @ 1/4

The odds are low on the accumulator this week.

And although the picks are fairly straightforward, trusting the Browns to cover the spread does feel a bit risky following their blowout loss to the Chiefs last week.

Accumulator odds: 6.56/1
